This precast concrete return wall section details a 6'-0" wide assembly with a 1'-0" depth and 10" thick return legs, measuring 2'-5 1/4" overall in depth. The main horizontal reinforcement consists of eight number 7 bars on each face, equally spaced, supplemented by number 4 two-piece ties with alternate top ties at 4 inches on center. Spiral or closed ties of the same size and spacing may be used in lieu of the two-piece tie. The return legs feature number 6 bars at 12 inches on center each way on each face. A construction joint is located at the contractor's option, and a standard 90-degree bend is detailed per detail L/SD2.
