A structural steel beam features a flange cut at the end with a defined cope length, top cope depth, and bottom cope. Three bolt holes are aligned vertically in the web of the remaining flange extension. Fillet radii are indicated at the re-entrant corners of the top and bottom copes to prevent stress concentrations.
