A structural steel collector connection utilizes a shear tab welded to the supporting member and bolted to the supported beam web. The single plate connection includes a primary row of bolts and additional bolts in a second row sized per plan. Field welds are specified by schedule with size adjustments indicated by notes. Centerline dimensions align the framing members at the top of steel.
