This assembly secures a cold-formed steel stud wall to a concrete foundation wall. The steel stud wall consists of vertical steel studs and a top steel track, with specific sizes referenced in the structural notes or schedules. The base of the wall is anchored to the concrete foundation using Simpson RCKW7.5 connectors spaced at 32 inches on center. Each connector is fastened with a 1/2-inch diameter Titen HD screw anchor, which requires a 3 1/4-inch embedment into the concrete. The concrete foundation wall size and reinforcing are determined by the structural plans and notes.
