A thickened concrete slab-on-grade footing supports the base of stair framing. The thickened concrete footing extends twelve inches beyond each stair stringer and features a one-foot depth. Reinforcement includes two continuous number five bars within the footing and number five reinforcing bars spaced at twelve inches on center. Stair attachment details and framing are coordinated per architectural drawings and provided by the stair supplier.
