Concrete walls feature horizontal and vertical reinforcing bars arranged in a double-mat configuration at corners and intersections. Corner bars match the size and spacing of the wall horizontal bars, bent normally or provided as separate bars with standard lap lengths. Additional vertical bars are placed at the corner and in two locations at wall intersections. For transitions from double-reinforced walls to single-reinforced walls, only the outer horizontal corner bar is required.
