A concrete tilt-up wall panel connects to its footing using steel angles and dowel bars. The embed angle measures L5x3-1/2x5/16 by five inches long and is anchored with two 5/8-inch diameter by 32-inch deformed bar anchors and one 3/4-inch diameter by 6-inch headed stud anchor. An attachment angle measuring L4x3x3/8 by four inches long connects to the tilt-up panel, with deformed bar anchors attached to the angle via a full fusion weld. After erection and welding, all steel plates and angles are coated with a minimum 1/8-inch layer of bituminous cement. Panel joint embeds are specified at all panel joints, ends, and opening jambs.
