Adjacent concrete wall panels feature a vertical joint sealed with a foam backer rod and elastomeric sealant at the outside face. The joint width is maintained at one-half inch plus or minus one-eighth inch typically unless noted otherwise. Fire-rated wall locations require panel joints to match the wall rating.
