A pour-in-place concrete wall is supported by a concrete strip footing measuring three feet wide and fourteen inches deep with three continuous number five bars and number four bars at eighteen inches on center each way with three inches of clear cover. The six-inch thick concrete wall features number four bars at twelve inches on center horizontally, number five bars at ten inches on center vertically at the centerline of the panel, and number four bars at eighteen inches on center tying into a six-inch concrete slab reinforced with number three bars at eighteen inches on center each way. A tube steel guardrail is anchored into a ten-inch deep concrete parapet section via a pipe sleeve fit tight with the guardrail and a three-inch by three-inch by one-quarter-inch plate welded to the sleeve.
