An HSS 3x3 stair landing post is anchored to a concrete-filled floor deck and wide-flange floor beam assembly. The post terminates at a 1/2-inch by 3-inch by 9-inch base plate secured with two 1/2-inch diameter by 3-inch screw anchors. A 3/16-inch fillet weld connects the post to the base plate. The assembly aligns with the centerline of the supporting floor beam sized per plan.
