A fall arrest anchor post is secured to a concrete-filled metal deck with a 3/4-inch-thick by 16-inch-square steel base plate at the top and a matching bottom plate, fastened together by four 3/4-inch-diameter A307 bolts. Two #5 reinforcing bars at 5 feet 0 inches each way are provided at the anchor location within the concrete on the metal deck. The assembly aligns with the low flute of the metal deck.
