A removable pipe bollard is anchored into a concrete grade beam and slab on grade. The assembly features a steel pipe bollard positioned within a one-foot-six-inch diameter blockout separated by a half-inch fiber board filler from the surrounding concrete slab on grade. The base of the bollard is welded to a half-inch by eight-inch square steel base plate with four number five welded bar anchors. The concrete blockout is reinforced with four number four vertical bars at four feet in length and three number three hoops. Additional grade beam reinforcement is provided per plan below the slab.
