Lateral bracing for cold-formed metal stud walls utilizes a continuous 1 1/2 inch by 1 1/2 inch by 12 gauge angle member spanning across the stud framing. The angle is secured to each individual stud web using one number 2 screw. A diagonal wire brace connects to the angle section to provide lateral stability and restraint for the stud wall assembly.
