An elevator rail support tube bears on an L8x6x1/2 by one-foot angle anchored at the top of a concrete footing or slab. Two 3/4-inch diameter by 6-inch headed studs welded to the angle embed into the concrete at a 45-degree angle. A 1/4-inch typical fillet weld secures the rail support tube to the vertical leg of the angle.
