Brick veneer is supported by a galvanized steel angle or bent plate ledger welded to the web side of the steel stud flange at each stud. The assembly includes exterior sheathing, a sixteen gauge continuous track, and veneer anchorage as specified in general notes. A companion schedule outlines angle sizes, weld lengths L1 and L2 for eccentric dimensions up to ten inches, utilizing one-eighth inch fillet welds typically. The ledger angle size scales from L4x4x3/8 up to a 9x9x1/2 bent plate depending on the veneer offset dimension.
