Two adjacent precast concrete members bear on an erection pad with a three-quarter inch pour joint between them. Each precast member features three number five minimum reinforcing bars running longitudinally, positioned one foot eleven and five-eighths inches from the centerline on each side within a four-foot overall width. The concrete erection pad below is dimensioned with variable thickness 'T' per schedule and maintains a three-inch clear cover to the bottom longitudinal reinforcement. Side clearances of two inches are detailed along the stepped bearing interface.
