Shear reinforcement ties are anchored within a mat foundation, featuring a one hundred thirty-five degree hook above and a bar terminator head below. The terminator head may be replaced with a ninety degree hook at the contractor's option. Mat foundation thickness, reinforcing sizes, and tie spacing are sized per plan, maintaining a five and one-eighth inch clearance.
