Metal stud jambs anchor to a concrete edge condition using a 14-gauge angle with a 3-1/2-inch vertical leg. The horizontal leg length matches the stud width minus 1/4 inch. Two powder-driven fasteners secure the angle to the concrete, while four number 12 screws fasten the angle to the stud jamb. Spacing is maintained with maximum 1-foot-0-inch intervals.
