An indicative design for a steel-to-steel connection at the top of the skybridge floor at elevation 106.10 features a two-hundred millimetre deflection slot. Stiffener plates are welded to the structural steel elements as indicated. The connection incorporates slotted bolt holes to accommodate movement.
