A CoreBrace buckling-restrained brace connects via a bolted lug to a knife gusset plate passing through an HSS column, which is supported by a wide-flange column sized per plan. The column base sits on a base plate anchored into a concrete grade beam and foundation element, with anchor bolts detailed on a separate drawing. A concrete blockout surrounds the column base within the surrounding concrete slab on grade.
