An HSS column bears on a 1-inch thick steel base plate with a yield strength of 36 ksi. The assembly is secured by four anchor bolts designated as AB3, arranged in a 1-foot 2-inch square pattern. Edge distances and bolt spacings are dimensioned at 1 1/2 inches and 5 1/2 inches respectively. The column size is referenced to the structural column schedule.
