An intermediate steel tube girt is tied into the screen wall assembly with a 1/8-inch steel closure plate at the top and bottom, secured with a 3/16-inch fillet weld. L2x2x1/4 angles, each 5 inches long, are placed on each side of the intermediate girt. The mechanical screen wall material and attachment details are coordinated with architectural and manufacturer specifications.
