Acoustic dowel laminated timber panels are secured over a queen post truss top chord with two mounting screws spaced at twenty-four inches on center. Sheathing is applied above the acoustic layers, with a joint located over the centerline of the beam. Fasteners penetrate three and a half inches into the supporting chord member.
