An HSS column is welded to a base plate bearing on non-shrink grout above a concrete foundation or slab on grade. Anchor rods are embedded into the concrete to a specified minimum depth per schedule, secured with typical leveling nuts beneath the base plate. The column size, anchor rod configuration, and embedment depth are sized per plan and structural schedules.
