Steel deck is supported parallel to a bond beam wall with a continuous plate and angle assembly. A 1/4 inch by 15 inch by 2 foot 0 inch plate is anchored to the masonry bond beam with four 1/2 inch diameter expansion anchors having a 4 inch minimum embedment at 12 inches on center in the deck flute. A structural angle measuring L4x3x5/16 by 1 foot 0 inch long is welded to the plate with 3/16 inch fillet welds at each end of the angle. A typical top of wall gap is maintained at the top of the masonry assembly.
