A skewed wide-flange beam frames into the web of a supporting wide-flange column or beam with a maximum clearance of zero to one-half inch at the top and bottom flanges. Full-depth stiffener plates are provided on each side of the support web aligning with the framing beam flanges. The connection utilizes welded joints with specified fillet weld sizes.
