The metal deck bears on a continuous 18-gauge plate secured with two number 10 self-drilling screws at 12 inches on center. A minimum 12-gauge deflection track accommodates vertical movement with a one-and-a-half-inch minimum clearance. A minimum 43-mil continuous track fastens to each stud with number 10 screws. SureBoard panels are installed on the cold-formed steel stud wall per reference details.
