Shear stud rail reinforcement is integrated into a concrete slab at a concrete column connection. The stud rails feature vertical headed studs welded to a base rail, spaced at (Y - 1) @ Z" centers within the slab. The assembly maintains a 1-1/2" clearance from the top of the slab to the top of the rail and a 1" clearance from the bottom of the slab to the rail. Edge distances of 2" are detailed at the column face and slab termination.
