A buckling-restrained brace connects to a steel column and gusset plate assembly anchored to a concrete foundation. The steel column features stiffener plates on the near side and far side as required by the corebrace. A gusset plate of specified thickness connects the diagonal brace member to the column flange. A concrete block-out is formed around the column base, which rests on the concrete foundation. Base plate and anchor bolt information is coordinated per elevations.
