A structural steel header beam frames into a column per plan, supported by a three-eighths-inch by three-inch by four-inch plate on each side. The connection is secured with an erection bolt as required. Three-sixteenths-inch fillet welds attach the plates and beam, with one-inch return welds at the top and bottom.
