A wide flange steel column welds to a base plate with a five-sixteenths inch fillet weld. The assembly bears on one and one-half inches of nominal non-shrink grout over a concrete foundation. Threaded anchor rods with T-anchors secure the base plate, complete with leveling nuts, washers, and top nuts. An optional grout hole is centered in the base plate, and bolt projections and dimensions are detailed per schedule.
