Roof sheathing supports a level platform framing composed of two-by-six or four-by-six number one wood members connected with Simpson U-hangers over a truss purlin secured with A35F framing anchors at twenty-four inches on center. A continuous two-by-four plate is fastened with staggered sixteen-penny nails at six inches on center adjacent to a cant strip. The equipment curb is fastened to the wood framing with three three-eighths-inch diameter by five-inch lag screws at each side of the curb. The level platform is finished with three-quarter-inch CDX APA rated sheathing fastened with ten-penny screw shank nails spaced at four inches on center at edges and twelve inches on center intermediately, with edge blocking omitted.
