A one-foot by one-foot block-out is provided for a roof drain core drill with no reinforcing steel crossing the opening. Three number six bars are placed on each side of the block-out and extend thirty-one inches minimum past the opening. Additional jamb reinforcing is detailed per the panel elevation and schedules. The vertical reinforcing layout maintains two-foot seven-inch minimum extensions beyond the block-out zone.
