A structural steel beam frames into hollow structural section posts with supporting angle brackets secured by center line bolts. The top connection utilizes a typical L3 1/2x3 1/2x5/16 angle bracket beneath a typical HSS post positioned symmetrically on the beam flange. The bottom connection features an L6x3 1/2x5/16 angle bracket with long leg vertical connected to the underside of the beam flange with specified vertical clearances. The beam top of steel and top of rail are located per plan and manufacturer elevations.
