A metal deck bears on a perimeter steel beam sized per plan with a minimum two-inch bearing clearance. A continuous sixteen-gauge bent plate is provided as required to close the deck edge. The metal deck is field cut to fit with a minimum one and fifteen-sixteenths inch dimension.
