A footing blockout and opening are configured for a future loading dock leveler. The opening is defined with a width of seven feet two inches and features a future sawcut line for the dock leveler without forming a V-groove. Reinforcing steel consists of number four bars measuring four feet long at typical locations, number three ties at twelve inches on center across the full width of the panel, and continuous number seven bars each face. Additional reinforcement includes number five bars each face placed diagonally at the opening corners. The assembly is dimensioned to field verification requirements with equal spacing provisions.
