A concrete curb supports a metal panel siding assembly over a steel beam and concrete-filled metal deck. The structural support consists of a W-shape beam carrying a WT section shaped from a W12x40 with its web sloped to maintain a constant top of steel. A concrete curb measuring two feet wide and up to eight inches high sits on the slab, reinforced with continuous number four bars, number three ties at twelve inches on center, and a number three cap tie. Two three-quarter-inch diameter by six-inch headed studs at twelve inches on center connect the slab to the supporting structure. A half-inch by eight-inch by eight-inch plate with two three-quarter-inch by eight-inch welded studs is embedded in the curb. A hollow structural section measuring six by four inches extends upward to support the metal panel per architectural drawings, secured with a quarter-inch bent plate L3x3x1/4 at forty-eight inches on center.
