A cold-formed steel wall header assembly incorporates a built-up header flanked by top and bottom tracks that match the stud size and gauge. The assembly utilizes closure and jamb components positioned beyond the header, fastened with number eight screws spaced at twelve inches on center staggered. A clip beam connects to the jamb closure using four number ten screws at both the top and bottom. The top track allows for movement relative to the framing above while maintaining lateral stability.
