A concrete wall extends upward from a continuous concrete footing, reinforced with vertical steel bars sized per structural plans and schedules. Dowels extending from the footing lap splice with the vertical wall reinforcement. A concrete slab on grade abuts the wall assembly, supported on compacted subgrade. The concrete wall thickness, footing dimensions, and rebar sizes are specified on the architectural and structural plans.
