A reinforced concrete stemwall and continuous footing support a slab-on-grade with a dropped exterior slab condition. The stemwall features a ten-inch minimum width with two continuous number five bars at twelve inches on center and number five dowels with standard ninety-degree hooks at each end spaced at one foot six inches on center. Horizontal dowels tie into the slab-on-grade reinforcement matching interior slab requirements. Additional two continuous number five bars are detailed over cable bus locations where applicable, maintaining standard two-inch concrete clearances.
