A three-eighths-inch thick gusset plate connects the bracing per section to the monorail beam sized per plan. The gusset plate is welded to the beam with quarter-inch fillet welds on both sides. The bracing member attaches to the gusset plate with two bolts spaced at three inches on center. Standard edge clearances include a one-and-a-half-inch maximum and a one-inch minimum typical dimension to the work point.
