This structural connection features a three-eighths-inch thick gusset plate welded to a wide-flange beam with a one-quarter-inch fillet weld. Two diagonal angle braces connect to the gusset plate using two seven-eighths-inch diameter A325 bolts each, framed around a working point on the beam axis. An additional vertical angle member connects to the central gusset plate with two bolts. The wide-flange beam and angle sizes are specified per the structural plan and elevation drawings.
