Snow drift load parameters act on a roof adjacent to a higher structure or parapet. The drift width, designated as W, is determined per table and extends from the vertical obstruction. The drift height, designated as P_D, is defined between the top of drift and bottom of drift elevations. The flat roof snow load, designated as P_F, is referenced above the top of roofing elevation. Dimensions and load values are keyed to project design tables.
