A structural steel core is encased within a protective sleeve and connected at both ends to gusset plates. The casing is secured with a one-eighth inch seal weld along specified edges. The gusset plates feature multiple bolt holes for anchoring or connection to adjacent structural members. Symmetrical detailing is maintained about the central axis.
