A continuous L6x4x3/8 structural steel angle with long leg vertical is embedded at the edge of the concrete slab to receive the stair stringer provided by the stair manufacturer. Galvanized number five reinforcing bars at two feet zero inches on center anchor the angle into the slab. Dowels in a groove provide additional connection between the stair and the slab, though this connection is schematic and to be detailed by the stair fabricator. Slab thickness and reinforcing are sized per plan.
