A section through a post-tensioned concrete slab at a column location shows the arrangement of tendons and reinforcing steel. Banded post-tensioned tendons are bundled above the top upper rebar layer, with the number of tendons per bundle subject to variation. Uniformly distributed post-tensioned tendons run alongside top upper rebar sized per plan. A minimum cover is maintained at the slab top and edges. Top lower rebar sized per plan is supported by number seven support rebar and chairs with a typical two-inch minimum clear spacing.
