A concrete equipment pad rests on a structural concrete slab and features internal styrofoam fill with a minimum compressive strength of twenty psi. Number four reinforcing bars are placed at twelve inches on center each way, centered in the slab. Number four dowels at twelve inches typical are tied at the curbs and mechanical varies as shown on drawings. The structural slab sits on steel beams sized per plans.
