A hollow structural section girt frames into a hollow structural section column. A one-quarter inch fillet weld connects the girt to the column on the near side and far side, typical at all connections. The wall above is positioned at a maximum of two feet zero inches from the column centerline. All member sizes for the hollow structural section column and hollow structural section girt are to be sized per plan.
