A cast-in-place concrete stair landing frames into a concrete shear wall perpendicular to the stair run. Number 4 reinforcing bars at twelve inches on center tie into the landing, matching the stair bottom reinforcing. Dowels match the main reinforcing and tie into top and bottom weldable couplers embedded in the shear wall. Additional reinforcement follows the typical concrete stair detail.
