A bent channel stair stringer bears onto an exterior concrete slab-on-grade with an integral thickened footing. The connection is secured using a three-quarter-inch diameter by three-inch embedment stainless steel Hilti KB-TZ2 expansion anchor. The footing is reinforced with number five bars spaced at twelve inches on center and three number five bottom bars with three inches of clearance. The footing length extends six inches on each side beyond the stair width.
